If you’re looking for a data project idea, I have just published S1E1 that contains both data and problem statements for you to finish! Here is the link: https://clients.datasciencewithdennis.com/p/covid-19-data-study

Now that CES 2026 is finished, here’s some more notes you need to know:

The physical world is next for AI

AI is looking for the next big thing and that will be the physical world; think autonomous cars and robotics. To be clear, this is what will be attempted. Will it actually succeed? I don’t know and it will probably take more than just 1 year to get to that answer.

A lot of bad robotics companies persist

There were no lack of robots at CES. But good robots or effective robots - none of those were are CES. A lot of bad robotics companies are still out there. Be very careful with your interests and investments in this space. Lots of pretenders that still need to be shaken out of this market.

More social platforms are coming to your TV

YouTube has quietly made a lot of progress in making its way on to your television. Other social platforms are taking notice and will start to go down that road. Look for Meta/Instagram to start making a bigger move into this space, which also means a bigger move into long-form content.
