Every so often, new web applications and workflow process tools gain market share and acceptance across enterprise/corporate teams working on varying types of products (software, hardware, services, etc.). Assume you were given the task of devising the rationale to either (1) buy an off-the-shelf Software as a Service (SaaS) platform or (2) build an internal platform (either direct or outsourced).
